Samuel and John moved to Warren Co., IN ca 1830 and Milburn moved to Fountain
Co., along with families HAWKINS and PHILPOT. Samuel died ca 1839 along with
possible brother or uncles William and George as there are these names there
also. John moved to Dallas Co., IA after 1850 and Milburn moved to Boone
Co., IA after 1850. The WILLIAMS were neighbors to such families as HAWKINS,
PHILPOTT, HACKLEMAN, and OSBORNES which are also related. Any information on
this family would be appreciated.

I am researching my father's family, the family of JOSEPH NELSON. He married
JANE FEARIS and they had 12 children. My grandmother's name was LEWIS, and
they also all came from Fayette Co. I would love to hear from anyone either

I am looking for any and all information on William BROADDUS,
B Feb 18 1828 in Fayette Co. (and the following)
His father was Robert L. BROADDUS, b may 15 1794 and a war of
1812 vet. He was born in Caroline County VA.
Robert relocted from Va. to Fayette Co in 1821.
I have reason to believe a close relative of his
(Lunsford BROADDUS my GGGgrand father)
Stayed with or near him @ 1830-1835. 2 or three of Lunsfords
children were born in Fayette CO as well. I believe their
names are Reuben (Jul 6, 1832) and Susan (Feb 22, 1834)
Possibly Caroline (June 2, 1830). I would like any documentation on
any of these BROADDUS Family Members.

Seeking information about Joshua SIMPSON, born in
Indianapolis right around 1800, married Betsy Martin in Wayne
County in 1819, then lived in Brownsville Township, now Union
but then Fayette County, in 1820. By 1830 Joshua was in McNairy
County, Tennessee, where I believe he remarried. Around 1833 my
girlfriend’s great-great-grandfather Rolan H. Simpson was born,
and finally in 1844 the family settled in Texas. Would love to
find other descendants of Mr. Simpson, and also (cross my
fingers) the name of Joshua's parents.

I am searching for information on my g-grandfather, Dennis CARPENTER born
July 20, 1832 in Connersville, Fayette, Indiana. I think I found his
father, Lyman CARPENTER, born 1799 in Savoy, Mass. From information I
have found on Lyman, it does not list Dennis as a child, however it does
brothers that I know is his. Ezra CARPENTER, born Oct 18, 1823 in
Connersville, Ind and Horace CARPENTER born Dec 19, 1826 in Connersville,
Ind. If anyone should have any information that might give me a link, I

I am looking for information on the family of Jeremiah and Mary Ann WILLIAMS
who came to this Frankling and Fayette County around 1818. They had the
following known children: Samuel b. ca 1780 SC, m. Susannah HACKLEMAN; John
b. 1796 SC m. 13 Oct 1819 Elizabeth McCORMICK and Milburn b. 1799 SC m. Nancy
HAWKINS 10 Aug 1819 in Fayette Co, IN. Other possible children are Elizabeth
m. James WILEY, William E., George, James, Thomas and Mary Ann. Jeremiah
died ca 1815 and no probate records have been found. Mary Ann married Jacob
HACKLEMAN 10 Oct 1824 and died 27 Nov 1825 Rush Co., IN. Jeremiah is said to
have come from NC or SC and had a brother, possibly Thomas. Some say he was
an orphan from Wales and others say he came with his parents to the U.S.
before the Revolutionart War.

the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth PERKINS. Joseph was born ca 1765 and
died 27 Sep 1835 in Fayette Co., IN. They had the following children: John;

SIMPSON, Nancy m. Benjamin WEST, Mary m. Archibald HAMILTON, Joseph m.
Elizabeth PERKINS (my direct line), James m. Rachel LYTLE, Matthew m. Esther
LYTLE and Benjamin m. Sarah BALDWIN. Joseph HAWKINS was the son of John
HAWKINS b. ca 1730 Queen Anne Co., MD and d. ca 1799 Abbeyville, SC and
Elizabeth JONES, daughter of Joseph JONES who is said to have been a Quaker
