EDWARD W. FELT

(Addition to "Richman" biography)

. To Sylvester W. and his wife Rebecca were born the following children: Mary H., the wife of James S. Clift, a farmer in Brandywine township; Edward W., of this review; Frank V. is a nurseryman at Greenfield and has been twice married, his first wife being Miss Mollie Moore and the second a Mrs. Wagner; Cora is the wife of Joseph M. Fisk, a farmer in Center township; John H., an architect at St. Joseph, Missouri, married Miss Kate M. Stollard; Minnie died at the age of eight years.

The marriage of Judge Felt occurred on the 17th of April, 1885, when he was united in the holy bonds of wedlock with Miss Martha L. Thomas, of this county. Her parents were Alfred and Mary J. (Earl) Thomas, the former of Kentucky and the latter of Ohio, but both early settlers of this county. He died in 1862 and she in 1899. His first marriage was to a Miss Plow, by whom he had two children, Margaret McCray, widow of Stephen McCray, deceased, and Mary C., wife of the late Capt. I. A. Curry. To his second union were born the following children: Sarah Ellen, who married Henry Braddock of this county; Nancy H., who lives in Greenfield, is the widow of William Curry; Anna Eliza is the wife of James L. Smith, of Greenfield; Isaac E. is a farmer of Heosho county, Kansas; Ethalinda died at the age of thirteen years; John W. is a farmer in Henry county, this state; William J. is a bookkeeper in the Hughes Bank at Greenfield; Martha L. is the wife of the subject of this sketch; Mille C. is the widow of John N. Winslow, late of Greenfield. The children who have blessed the union of Mr. and Mrs. Felt are as follows: Alfred Earl died young; Edward T. was born June 17, 1888; Mable M., November 8, 1890; Elsie R., January 31, 1893; Truman T. February 3, 1899.
