WILSON

Cheri <CEStorie@aol.com> on 10 Jun 1999
I'm trying to find info on the family of Ace or Asa Bell Wilson. His wife was Hulda Coffey. They had 13 siblings. My Grandfather Walter George Wilson was one of the siblings. He waas born Jan 13 1887 in Philadelphia Hancock County. He died 1965 in Indianapolis. I haven't been able to find any information on this family.
I do have the names of Ralph, Elmer, Albert and Alta as some of the siblings born to A. B. and Hulda WILSON.
I wrote to the vital records office in Hancock County but they have no record of Walter George Wilson's birth.
Thank you
Cheri cestorie@aol.com

RASH

Barbara Martin <martinb@net4u.net> on 02 Jun 1999
Hi,
I am researching my ancestors in the RASH family. Arthur Rash, my great-grandfather lived in Fortville on Main Street. My Grandfather was Raymond Rash who was raised in Vernon Township, rented a place and farmed in Southeast of Greenfield, then bought a small farm next to where he was raised in Vernon Township. He moved to Fortville from the farm after an accident. He was married to Claire Hiday. Has anyone asked about the RASH family before? Thank you for any help you can provide as to dates of arrival/departure and any other ancestral lines.

SEAMAN, CARTER, EAKES

Marilyn P. Steber <mpsteber@cts.com> on 12 May 1999
On the 1900 census Elizabeth Seaman Carter and husband Powhattan Carter were living with a son in Hancock County. They were in their 70s. They had 2 sons, George T. and William D, in the Lewis County, KY school census in 1879. Elizabeth's parents were Thomas and Catharine (McCoy). Powhattan's father was John Carter of WV.

Same census--David G. Seaman (Elizabeth's brother) was living with his daughter Cora Eakes and family. David died in 1903 in Hancock county. Are there any descendants of these?
